Effective October 13, 2011, Black Chip Poker accepts new U.S. players. However, new players from Washington D.C. and the states of Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, New York, and Washington are not accepted.

Black Chip Poker VIP Program
Black Chip Poker does not offer rakeback to new players but instead offers Up to 45% VIP. Players can exchange VIP Points for cash at increasingly high rates as they move in status levels. In order to receive the top Point exchange rates, players must generate 300,000 VIP Points over the life of their account. At that point, players can start to exchange VIP Points at a 45% VIP rate. Make sure to keep your account active as points will start decaying and you could lose your status. Generating at least one VIP point every 60 days will prevent points from decaying.

During the month of February, Black Chip Poker is making it incredibly easy for players to earn top VIP rewards on the site -- up to 45%. Players must first email vip@blackchippoker.com to be eligible for these limited time cash prizes. After emailing Black Chip Poker, they will reply with complete instructions on the promotion. At the beginning of the month following the month you earned VIP Points, you will have your VIP Points zeroed out and paid according to the chart below. Players are instructed not to use their points during the month.

Black Chip Poker Sign-Up Bonus
New players are also eligible for a 150% up to $750 sign-up bonus. Clearing the bonus will require players earn 75 VIP Points per $1 of bonus money. VIP Points are earned at a rate of 10 per $1 in contributed rake or tournament fees. Players earn approximately 13% in rakeback equivalent from the bonus. The bonus can be combined with the VIP program.
